More about "Stories of Union" :

The committee is undergoing a multi-phase process, based on the Community Heart and Soul method of decision making by the Orton Foundation, which will help make the City of Union a better place to live and work (http://fieldguide.orton.org/field-guide-download/).

This process begins by assessing what is important to the citizens of the City of Union. After the initial research the committee will develop goals to assure future growth in the community.

Over the next few weeks, the committee will begin our first  step by accepting your thoughts on three important questions titled "Stories of Union":

A. What stories about Union's past would you like to contribute?
B  What makes Union a unique and special place to live and or work today?
C.  What should Union look like in the future?

Submission process:
  1. Submit via email to: MainStreetUnionEDC@gmail.com
  2. Visit the Main Street Union and Economic Development booth at the Winter Wonderland Event December 7th ( A Union Chamber of Commerce Event) .
  3. Written comments can also be dropped off at Union City Hall.

Your accumulated comments will be used to conduct a more detailed survey, step two, a survey, which will begin February 2020.

The information gathered over the next few months will be used to compile the City of  Union's future goals. These goals will be presented to the Union City Council in March 2020!

Once goals and steps are set and accepted by the Union City Council the real work begins, implementation! Help guide the City of Union into the future and participate in Create Union's Future.
